Sending Mom a Hug on Mother's Day

Sending Mom a Hug on Mother's Day

Being a mother myself, I cannot think of a better gift than a hug from my kids on Mother's Day.  I also

want to know know that they love me, and are glad that I am their Mom, even with my faults.

This year, being together may not be possible.  So, why not send Mom a hug and tell her how grateful you

are in one, incredibly soft throw blanket.  You can choose your words, add an image or photograph,

and even get it delivered directly to her!

Check out these ideas!

Mother's Day is a very difficult day for some...

Mother's Day is a very difficult day for those who have lost children, or those who have lost their Moms.

I lost my Mom in 2017 within 4 months of being diagnosed with cancer.  Mother's Day is a mixed blessing for me.  It is a day that I remember my Mom and all the wonderful experiences we had, and a day that I am really feeling her loss.

Sadly, many people have lost children; sometimes their only child.  This doesn't mean they are not Moms, though.  They carried their child, they loved their child, and there will always be a loss.

Our blankets bring comfort to those who are missing their Moms or children, or both this year.  How do I know?  A lot of those gifted one of these blankets have ordered blankets for others because they felt the comfort of the words, the expression of love, and something to hold onto during those moments of grief.

Our blankets can be personalized - words can be changed, images can be added, I'll share a few examples of our blankets to inspire you.

Bringing comfort to those grieving... blanket hugs

Bringing comfort to those grieving... blanket hugs

Many of our customers have reached out to us to create a personalized gift of comfort for a friend or family member that has lost a loved. It is such a helpless feeling when someone we love is faced with a loss. Most of us want to do something, to ease the grief, to reach out, to provide comfort.

The loss of my Mom was devastating to me. We assumed she would be with us until at least 100 just like her Mom. Our loss made me realize what a long journey grief is. It is full of ups and downs, like a roller coaster. Most of all I missed her hugs…

Before we learned of my Mom’s illness, I had created a blanket for her when she lost her favorite cat.  My Mom was so comforted by her blanket, it inspired the idea of creating a blanket that could also be a gift of comfort for not only those that are ill, but those grieving a loss.

I need a special way to give comfort for my grieving friend or family...
